Uno
AvailableUno is a male pit bull terrier and mastiff mix currently located in Utica, MI. He is an adult dog with a medium build. Uno is neutered and has his vaccinations up to date. He gets along well with other dogs and is looking for a new, caring home where he can continue healing and regain his strength after being rescued from neglect.
About Uno
Uno has been through a rough start, spending months isolated and neglected, left without regular meals or even water. His former owners claimed he couldn’t hold down water and rarely offered more than the occasional ice cube. It’s no surprise he lost much of his body weight in just two months. Thankfully, his suffering was noticed, and he was brought to safety. Now, Uno’s life has turned around. He’s had a bath, a nail trim, medical care, and is eating high-calorie food to help him bounce back. He enjoys affection, loves belly rubs, and calmly walks past other dogs at the kennel. While he could use some work on his leash skills, he’s eager and cooperative during walks. Uno’s being treated for mange from the effects of neglect, but with time and good care, his health is expected to improve. Uno is strong, loving, and looking for a family ready to give him the care and consistency he never had. He gets along well with other dogs and is ready to start a new chapter.
