About Larson
Meet Larson—a big, brindle guy ready to make a real impression both on your couch and in your life. Larson came to the rescue in a hurry after someone tried to have him euthanized due to a bite incident that was, in truth, a pain response from overgrown dewclaws. He came into the vet limping and uncomfortable, but after surgery to remove the cause of his pain, he's finally getting a shot at the life he deserves. Larson isn't just a large dog; he's got a warm, goofy presence and solid communication skills. He's proof a dog in pain can change completely once cared for the right way. The rescue is looking for someone patient and understanding, who will respect Larson's boundaries and help him keep building trust. If you're looking for a foster opportunity or a chance to foster-to-adopt, Larson's adoption fee is sponsored. There's a lot of potential in this dog, and he's ready to meet someone committed to giving him a safe, loving home. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
