05/11/26 17:31 Medical update: Beauty's skin is improving at her 2 week recheck, but needs an extended course of medications. At time of spay, she was noted to be prior altered. Her teeth were scaled and 3 incisors were removed. She was found to have a grade 2/6 heart murmur with mild left atrial enlargement on x-ray and has a collapsed/very narrow intervertebral disk space in her cervical vertebrae. She has lost some weight in shelter. 04/22/26 09:33 Beauty ~8-10+ year old terrier mix Intake date: 4/17 Due out: 4/21 Beauty is a small breed senior dog who arrived at the shelter stray with fleas, severe skin infections and hairloss and severe itch, and ear infections. She is quite scared and anxious here. She is currently on apoquel, cefpodoxime, and was treated for ear infections on 4/21. Minimal awake oral exam performed due to fearfulness on first exam, but patient has severe calculus and gingivitis and halitosis and is likely in need of extensive dental surgery. In need of urgent rescue. Medicated bath and mousse on 4/30/26
