Westwood, MA Doreen’s journey began at a shelter in Uljin, South Korea. For a long time, she was a "hidden dog" who spent her days trembling in a dark corner. She was so terrified of humans that she never showed her face to visitors. Sadly, she watched many of her friends leave the shelter while she stayed behind, losing her trust in people. When Doreen first moved to her foster home, she was filled with panic and tried her best to hide her tiny body in the smallest corners. It was heartbreaking to see such a beautiful soul so afraid. However, with patience and sincere love from her foster family, Doreen slowly began to open her heart. She went from being a dog who was too nervous to eat to a brave girl who is curious about the world. She realized that human hands are not meant to hurt her, but to love her. Now, she not only accepts pets but truly enjoys them! She has also discovered the joy of walking outside, where she loves the smell of fresh grass and the sight of the blue sky. Today, Doreen is a completely different dog. She is a social butterfly who loves running with other dog friends and enjoys every treat she gets. While she might be a little shy with strangers at first, she now has the courage to take the first step and say hello. Doreen is a unique Jindo and Chihuahua mix. With her long, elegant white legs and beautiful face, she looks just like a supermodel—some even call her the "Gisele Bündchen" of the dog world! Doreen has overcome her darkest days and is now ready to fill her life with only beautiful things. She is looking for a forever family who will cherish her sparkling eyes and gentle heart.
