Hi! I'm Bogey (pronounced Bow-Gee... like golf, except I'm way more fun). I'm a goofy, happy boy who wakes up every day convinced it's the best day ever. My favorite things include humans, snacks, zooming around the yard, and getting every ounce of attention possible. If cuddling were an Olympic sport, I'd already have a gold medal. The beginning of my life wasn't very kind to me. I spent much of it living in a basement without enough food or care, so I'm still learning that food, water, toys, and love will always be there for me now. Because of that, I can get a little extra excited about mealtime and treasures, but honestly, can you blame me? I'm discovering that being a dog is actually pretty awesome. I'm still working on some "puppy basics" like potty training, leash walking, kennel training, and general manners. Apparently "launching yourself at people because you love them so much" is not considered polite. Who knew? The good news is I'm eager to learn and very motivated by attention, praise, and treats. I have a lot of energy and would thrive with an active family that's ready for adventures, playtime, and helping me continue to build confidence in this big exciting world. I'm making up for lost time and want to experience everything life has to offer. I've lived with other dogs before and have done well with dogs of all sizes in my foster home. I also live with cats and don't pay much attention to them. Basically, if you're kind to me, we'll probably be best friends. What I'm really looking for is a family willing to be patient while I learn, laugh at my goofy puppy antics, and remind me every day that I'm finally safe, loved, and home.
