About Venus

Venus has a bright, athletic spirit packed into her small-ish, medium-sized frame. At about 2 years old, she's a unique shepherd/chihuahua mix who's mastered both acrobatics and snuggling—if you have a lap, she'll find it and fill it with her whole body. Despite her manageable size, Venus has the heart and legs of a track star, so a secure 5-6 foot fence is non-negotiable; yards without real barriers just won’t cut it. Rescued by a caring foster after she wandered onto a school campus, Venus quickly proved herself both deeply loving and high energy. She craves human attention from adults and mature kids. She’s dog-social and happiest with another sturdy, playful dog who matches her zoomies and wrestling moves. Venus gets along with large and small dogs, but mid-sized friends are ideal. Cat testing is possible if needed. Once done charging around, Venus turns into a full-on affectionate lap dog who soaks up every bit of love you offer. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
