About Pee Wee

*** If you have any questions or would like to meet any of our adoptable cats, email catadoptions@nawsus.org. Please include a cell number and check your SPAM folder if you do not receive a timely response. Meet Pee Wee! Be ready to lose your heart to this precious little boy. Pee Wee is a male kitten, born 12-1-25, that was found with some other friendly strays in western Illinois. A kind homeowner trapped him and brought him indoors until he could be brought to a rescue that would help him find a home. Pee Wee made the trip to NAWS for a chance at his happily ever after. Pee Wee is adorable. He is a bit shy in new environments, but he is still getting used to a lot of new people and places. He has had a lot of changes in his life recently. Don't let this little guy fool you though, because if given a few moments to adjust, he becomes incredibly cuddly and affectionate. He loves to sit in laps and has a loud purr motor that won't stop! He loves to be petted and will roll around all silly looking for belly rubs. He will affectionately rub on his foster's hand and melts when given chin and cheek scratches. After all the loving, he will then snooze in a warm lap. He likes toys and seems most interested in wand toys and little stuffed mice. Give this little man a bit of time to build confidence in a new home and he will be an incredibly loving, social and fun addition. Want to help care for him while he waits to find his forever home? You can be a "Sponsor!" Click on the "sponsor" button on this profile and your one-time donation will be used for vital everyday essentials such as his food, litter and medical care! Thank you for helping save lives! All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. A Cat Adoption Application is required should you decide you’d like to apply to adopt a NAWS cat. Please complete and submit the application electronically on our website at http://www.nawsus.org.
