It brings us great joy to see the transformation this sweet boy has gone through. This handsome 3-year-old boy showed up on someone’s doorstep, a stray that was injured with wounds on his face. Perhaps he knew at that point he needed help and was hopeful to find it at their door. He is comfortable with people, so we suspect he had a home at some point in his life. Sadly though, he was forced to fend for himself outdoors, a tough existence for sure. Lucky Lou was indeed lucky - he was brought to NAWS where his wounds were treated, he was lovingly cared for, and he was given a second chance. Lucky Lou is a confident boy that knows what he wants and likes. He is curious, he greets new people, and he is up for adventures. He seems content with and interested in human companionship. He enjoys pets, but not too hard or too soft. No belly rubs though, please. We suspect once he is back in home, gains more trust, and moves on from his troubled past, he will continue to blossom.
