About Gracie Lou
Gracie Lou is a survivor with a huge heart. For her first five years, she lived outside on a chain, but once she got a taste of a home, she soaked it all in. Now fully house trained, Gracie Lou doesn't ask much—she just wants to be near you. She stakes out a spot by the window and soaks up the view, or flips onto her back for a belly rub the moment she catches your eye. She is a quiet presence, happy to be with you, never demanding, grateful simply to belong. She loves a walk in the neighborhood or time to run in a fenced yard, but she’s just as content jumping in the car for a ride or relaxing inside with a favorite toy. Food motivates her, and she’s mastered "sit" and could learn much more given the chance—Gracie Lou picks things up quickly. She is leash trained but gets overly excited when other dogs are around, so she’ll need patience to work through that. Years of isolation make her crave human company more than anything, and she would do best as the only dog, without cats or children in the home. Gracie Lou is spayed, housebroken, and up to date on vaccines. All she asks now is a stable, loving home where she’ll never have to wonder where she belongs again. Ready to fall in love?
