This sweet and affectionate dog is house trained, vaccinated, and altered. Currently, he resides in Rockville, MD and is looking for a cozy home to call his own.

About Huey

Huey came to the Haven in rough shape, but he’s on the mend now. After overcoming significant dental issues and infections, he’s ready to rediscover the joys of life. Now that eating is no longer painful, Huey is working on becoming the solid, cuddly English Bulldog he was meant to be. His easygoing nature makes him a delightful companion. Huey walks well on the leash and settles nicely in the car. He's comfortable spending time alone without a crate and has a calm disposition, often enjoying peaceful nights of sleep. This Velcro dog loves being close to his favorite person but isn't overly needy; he’s just as happy lounging nearby. He hopes his new home has someone around often, along with plenty of butt scratches. You might even find him rolling over in the bushes for a good scratch himself. Huey is around 10 years old, weighing about 38 lbs, and he gets along great with other calm dogs. While he needs a belly band indoors to prevent marking, he prefers soft carpets to avoid slipping.
