Amelia is a nearly 2 year old, beautiful lady with the best manners. She deserves better than the life started with. Unfortunately, a backyard breeder either unsuccessfully rehomed or dumped Amelia. At several months old, she was able to be contained, but her paw pads were as damaged as her outlook towards life. Amelia loves all animals, but has found comfort in another dog whose story is much the same. Her gentle and sweet friend, Rocky, who is a few years old, was also dumped and has a similar disposition. Luckily, they found themselves and each other at Help From My Friends! Their friendship gives them the confidence they need to reach out for human companionship and a family. Both are terrified of small children and infants, but warm up to older children, teens, and adults very quickly. They need a calm environment, a fenced yard, patience, and a lot of love. In a perfect world, we would love to send them together, as they flourish in each other’s presence.
