A Sato is a Puerto Rican street dog, and Lucas has already experienced more change and loss than any young dog should. Lucas was one of multiple dogs rescued from a home in Puerto Rico after their rescuer unexpectedly passed away. Thanks to donations and supporters, Coffee and Paws Rescue was able to step in and save the dogs before they were left with nowhere to go. Despite everything, Lucas has a happy, sweet personality and absolutely loves other dogs. He is settling into foster care and learning what life in a home is all about. Lucas is currently working on crate, leash, and potty training and continues to gain confidence each day. After surviving life on the streets and then losing his rescuer, Lucas is simply looking for a safe, loving place to rest his head and finally feel secure again.
