Meet Koda Koda is a sweet 7-month-old Shih Tzu/Pug mix looking for a loving forever home. He's great with other dogs and absolutely loves to play! He can be a little pushy when first meeting new dog friends, but once he settles in, he's playful, happy, and full of personality. This little guy loves fetch, toys, and anything involving fun. He's also very food motivated, which has made training a success. Koda comes with obedience training, and his trainer is willing to continue working with his adopters to help him keep progressing. He already knows commands like sit, wait, lay down, and more. Koda is curious about cats and may chase them, so he would do best in a home without cats or with a very dog-savvy cat. He's still working on house training but is making great progress and getting the hang of it more every day. Koda's story hasn't been the easiest. His previous owner didn't have much time for him and would often leave him behind for days at a time. Thankfully, caring roommates stepped in to help care for him temporarily. Despite that instability, Koda has remained loving, affectionate, and eager to bond with people. Koda deserves a home where he'll be loved, included, and given the attention and stability every dog needs. He has so much love to give and is ready to become someone's best friend. Please help us find Koda the loving forever home he deserves. Adoption fees include: For puppies: First year's vaccines, including Bordetella, microchip, and deworming. Adult dog: Vaccinations are current, microchip, dewormed and spay/neuter. If you have current pets, we offer a Foster to Adopt Program, in which you have a two week trial period to make sure the animals get along, it's a good fit, and your begining to bond.
