My foster parents say I am a very good and SUPER easy girl. I am so so so sweet, submissive, and cuddly! I am sweet with strangers, good with other dogs, and ignore cats! I am spayed and have all my vaccines. I have a few days left on an antibiotic for Lyme, but otherwise the vet says I am a very healthy girl! I have been AMAZING in my foster home! I am fully house-trained (with the exception of a few occasions of submissive urinating which I seemed to have stopped doing!). I have no destructive tendencies. I am extremely easy to walk on leash. I don’t guard my food or toys. I am smart and eager to learn - especially if there are treats involved! I am such a joy to be around! Like all dogs, I need daily mental stimulation and physical exercise. However, I am moderate to lower energy compared to most heelers. I have an incredible “off” switch and settle extremely well in the house - I love a couch nap more than anything! I am a total velcro pup and constantly want to be next to you giving lots of snuggles. I am still working on a few things with my training. I sleep well in my crate overnight, but can take me a few minutes to settle in (I just want to be with you so badly!). I am a little unsure around new things, such as: noisy trucks, loud kitchen appliances, kids yelling, etc. However, I recover extremely quickly and seem to be improving on this every day as I gain confidence. You’ll have to watch me for counter surfing - but I’ll only try if it’s on a low table or super close to the edge! My foster mom says I’m doing much better with this and haven’t tried since week 1! I also love to jump and lick faces, but my foster Mom doesn’t necessarily see that as a problem to work on. Luckily, I’m smart, eager to learn, and improve quickly with consistency and gentle guidance. I am going to be an amazing dog for just about any family.
