Calm, relaxed, and easy-going describe this distinguished gentleman and pure-bred Poodle. Lucky is a wonderful guy with a gentle disposition who was rescued from an illegal breeder in South Carolina. Despite his background, he is trusting and engaged. Obviously a bit uncertain, Lucky has approached his new environment, including vet visits and a bath, with unusual sweetness and ease. Lucky is easy on leash, he does not pull, preferring slow walks and sniffs to chasing squirrels. He does love a tennis ball, and although he will chase it, he does not know how to play "fetch." He does know "sit" and he will follow you trustingly. Lucky is great in the car, happy to be with you on an adventure, expecially with an open window so he can smell all the smells in the air! Lucky is not treat motivated, but he will be easy to train without incentives as he is very smart and eager to please.
