About Piper

Piper is the definition of an adaptable companion. At 9 years old and 11 lbs, she fits right in as a gentle senior with plenty of affection to give. She's the type to cozy up for snuggles, always flashing those soft eyes that make you want to scoop her up. Piper relishes her daily strolls—she keeps up just fine, and often passes for a younger dog thanks to her lively gait. When she's not soaking up the sun or sniffing around the yard, you’ll find her cheerfully toting around plush toys or greeting newcomers with a friendly nudge and a little hop. In her foster home, Piper is easygoing and blends in seamlessly with other dogs, from terriers to greyhounds. She adores the company of her foster's 8-year-old child and joins for school runs, never missing a step. She’s crate trained and getting the hang of house training, and while she's still practicing her name and a few simple commands, she's picking things up at her own pace. At heart, Piper just wants to be part of the routine—carried under your arm or curled up at your feet. Give her a calm, affectionate environment and she's all set. Ready to fall in love?
