Meet Lydia What can we say about Lydia… she’s an old soul. She’s the kind of girl who doesn’t rush. She just quietly walks beside you, taking everything in—the smells, the sounds, the world around her. She watches you with those soft, knowing eyes like she’s trying to understand what just happened… and where she belongs now. Lydia is another unfortunate owner surrender, and it shows. Dogs like her don’t come in bouncing off the walls… they come in confused, shut down, trying to make sense of it all. And we always say this with love—if there is any way to rehome your pet through friends, family, or someone they already know… please try that first. The shelter is loud, overwhelming, and stressful—especially for dogs like Lydia who clearly once knew the comfort of a home. But here she is. And now it’s our job to make sure this is just a short stop on her journey.
