After losing his home to a devastating fire in December 2022, Garnet suffered severe burns all over his body and faced a long, painful recovery. With gentle, committed fostering and months of treatments that included constant burn care, medications, fluids, and support, Garnet defied all odds to survive and thrive. Despite lasting scars and delicate skin areas that need care, Garnet’s spirit remains strong—he is a gentle, loving Mastiff with a beautiful fawn coat and black mask. Standing at 170 lbs, Garnet is a true miracle. He even protected his fellow dogs during the fire, making sure they stayed out of harm’s way and only sustained minor injuries themselves. Recently neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, and microchipped, Garnet is ready for a loving home that can give him warmth and security. His resilience and devotion shine through, and he is looking for someone who can appreciate his big heart and gentle nature.
