Noella’s story started just before Christmas last year, found roaming Fountaintown in a coat meant for cold weather—hence the name. It looked like someone must surely be looking for her, but nobody ever arrived. Now, after spending time with the Vet Tech Institute and receiving full vetting, she’s ready for a fresh start with a real family. Noella is a Boxer/Mastiff mix around four years old. She can come off a bit reserved at the first meeting, but once she feels safe, she warms up fast—suddenly she’s glued to your side, nuzzling for butt scratches and eager for your attention. Her silly little tail nub goes wild for walk time, and she carries a playful, gentle energy that’s tough to ignore when she’s happy. Her reaction to other dogs and cats is unknown for now, so a meet and greet is needed if you already have a dog. The real heartbreak is that she’s still waiting, watching for someone to notice her.
