I just want to be near you, whether that is laying in your lap or following you around the house to see what you’re up to. I know what toys are and I like to play fetch or tug of war. I’m definitely playful! And I’m an expert at fetch! Like small breeds, I do bark. But I also stop after I know all is good. When guest come over, I bark until I know they are safe people for my family. It doesn’t take me long before I’m welcoming them into our home. I’m great at giving kisses! I may be a little uncertain when we first meet, but really soon, I’ll be wagging my tail for you, standing up on my hind legs begging for your attention and following you everywhere. I’ve learned that a crate is OK and now I sleep in my crate through the night. My foster family is still figuring out my signals to know when I need to go potty. I usually “hold it” until they let me outside, but sometimes they miss my signal and I have an accident. This is not frequent, and I have not marked at my foster home at all. Over all I’m a young puppy with playful puppy energy. I’ve had a great time learning new things at my foster mom’s house along side with 80lb foster brother. His size doesn’t intimate me and I’ve been very playful with him. My foster family tells me I have been a great puppy and they will miss me terribly but will be happy that I will feel the love of my family soon! Our standard adoption fee is $465. We offer a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the adoption fee $450. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal test, deworming, current on flea and tick preventative, and microchip. To ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters, we require a fully completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with the entire household. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption and does not obligate you to adopt; it simply allows us to begin the review process.
