Dylan
AvailableDylan is a young male Havanese and Maltese mix, nearly two years old, with a small frame and medium-length coat in white, cream, tan, and chocolate hues. He is neutered and fully vaccinated. Dylan is not suitable for homes with young children due to his delicate size and he is currently based in Lincolnwood, IL. His active, playful nature means he’ll need a committed family ready to match his energy and provide ongoing training and support.
About Dylan
Dylan, a small Havamalt puppy, was born in a commercial breeding facility and didn't experience the world like most home-raised pups. He’s a lively spirit who starts out somewhat shy, but he settles in and learns quickly. Now safe with his foster, Dylan shows a joyful side—especially with his fellow puppies—but the early lack of socialization means he’s still picking up new sights and sounds at his own pace. Dylan’s a happy, playful pup who isn’t shy about making his voice heard, so he’ll do best in a single-family home rather than an apartment or condo. He’s delicate due to his small size and shouldn’t be placed with young kids, though older children are fine. House training and basic obedience are next on his list, and he’ll need a gentle, patient family to help him settle in. His adopter should be home most of the day, as Dylan needs frequent potty breaks and lots of attention—he won’t thrive if left alone for long hours. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. Havamalts can live long lives, sometimes beyond 20 years, so his new family should be ready for a real commitment. Dylan is currently in Lincolnwood, IL. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
