Since losing his owner, he's been adapting and looking for a calm environment where he can be the only dog and receive plenty of attention. Scooter thrives with someone who spends a lot of time at home and understands anxious dogs. He can be overwhelmed by new people and places, needing patience and a slow introduction to new surroundings. His anxiety has improved with medication and Rescue Remedy. Affection takes time, but once trust is gained, Scooter becomes a loyal shadow, eager to snuggle at night and nap by your side. He prefers quiet routines, enjoys daily walks, and still bursts with energy for yard zoomies or playful moments with familiar people.
