At around 5 years old and 34 pounds, this adorable English Bulldog is equal parts goofy and lovable. Sookie has a charming, silly side that shines through in everything she does—especially when she’s “decorating” her bed. She loves gathering up all her toys, arranging them just right, and even dragging blankets over to create the coziest little nest imaginable. Interior design, bulldog style. Sookie is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention. She’s happiest when she’s soaking up pets, hanging out with her people, or enjoying a well-earned treat (which she absolutely loves). Her gentle, friendly nature makes her a great companion for just about anyone—she gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages. She’s also got great manners to go along with her good looks. Sookie is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash, making her an easy addition to a home looking for a laid-back, loving companion. Sookie does have chronic dry eye, which is managed with daily Cyclosporine in both eyes. She handles her routine like a champ and doesn’t let it slow her down one bit. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. Our adoption fee is $750. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ/OR, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
