Otter arrived as a stray with no known history, but he’s quickly shown himself to be a friendly, outgoing dog with a soft, eager-to-please personality. He greets new people with a loose, relaxed body and gentle tail wags, happily leaning in for pets and even trying to climb into laps for extra affection. Otter enjoys light play and loves chasing toys, though he may show mild toy-possessive behaviors, so positive training and toy-trading games will help him continue to improve. He also showed slight stiffness around food, so giving him space during meals is recommended. In his dog-to-dog meet, Otter was social and curious, remaining loose and engaged while exploring and sniffing, though he can get a bit enthusiastic and would benefit from continued practice with polite canine manners. With a proper dog introduction, a thoughtful home intro, and ongoing positive reinforcement training, Otter has all the makings of a sweet, affectionate companion ready to shine in his new home.
