Canelo loves people and isn’t shy about asking for attention—expect happy wiggles, playful hops, and lots of puppy kisses. When he gets excited, he can be a little jumpy and mouthy, but it’s all part of his goofy, playful charm. With some training and consistency, he’s going to be an amazing companion. This social guy enjoys meeting other dogs and brings a whole lot of energy to his playtime, so a dog-to-dog meet is recommended to make sure everyone’s play style is a good match. Puppy classes and continued socialization will help Canelo learn his manners and channel his energy in all the right ways. Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
