Shelby is a cocker spaniel mix who is loving, playful, and full of personality. He's great with dogs and kids, and while he's curious about cats, he hasn't shown aggression toward them. His favorite hobby? Fetch. You can throw a ball all day and he'll happily bring it back every single time. The good news? He's already crate trained, house trained, and rides great in the car, so he's got a lot of the hard stuff covered. He has not been destructive in his foster home even when left uncrated for short periods of time. Shelby's considerations? He has lots of energy and is an escape artist in the yard, so a fenced yard is non-negotiable and he needs to be supervised to ensure no ability to escape. As is typical of his breed, he has a high prey drive. Chickens are a big no around this guy.
