About Borris
Borris is a big, charismatic Siberian Husky who makes an impression the moment you meet him, with striking black and white fur, one blue eye and one brown. Born on April 25, 2022 (he’s a Taurus—that explains the loyalty and strong-willed side), he weighs 67 lbs and sports that classic short Husky coat. He quickly figured out house training, and aside from one mishap on his first night, he’s been spotless. Borris gets along well with both large and small dogs, and enjoys having a dog sibling to help soothe his occasional separation anxiety. He’s a people dog through and through, always ready to meet new faces—kids included, although his foster doesn’t have children, so supervised intros are best. Cats are another story; he finds them just a bit too interesting, so a no-cat home is strongly preferred. He isn’t a fan of the crate and will let you know, but he’s patient for short practice sessions and does fine overnight when he can sleep by your side. He picks up basics like sit, shake and sometimes stay, and he’s learning more every week. You'll need a fenced yard—six feet if you have it—as boredom leads him to dig. Borris enjoys his walks, loves lounging indoors, and would fit best with a person or family ready for a very sweet, slightly demanding cuddler who craves close company. His foster describes him as silly, affectionate and just the right amount of chaos for any Husky fan. Vaccinations are up to date and Borris is neutered. Ready to meet your new best friend?
