Lulu (black, 7+ years old) and Crumble (multicolored, 1+ years old) were rescued because their owner was going to be moving and had too many cats to bring along. None of them were spayed/neutered, but we helped in getting them altered and/or to the shelter for rehoming before the move. While Crumble was a little nervous at first, she has begun to come out of her shell. She seems to be a mellow, calm girl that enjoys attention but isn't overly clingy. Lulu has been very freaked out since coming to the shelter, and it seems like Crumble often provides comfort by staying near Lulu, snuggling with her, etc. Best case scenario would be if they could be adopted together. Lulu will certainly hide and be very reserved for a while once she's goes to a new home. She'd appreciate starting out in a small room or space so that she can gradually get used to her new environment a little bit at a time. Lulu and Crumble came from a rough beginning, but we're hoping that a patient, warm-hearted person or couple will come along and open up their quiet home to two girls that really need one.
