AvailableRaisin is a black domestic short hair with a short, glossy coat and a medium build, currently in Littleton, NH. About Raisin
Raisin is a two-year-old black domestic short hair who originally found a home in 2024 but sadly returned to the shelter at the end of 2025. While her previous adopter cited a change in circumstances, it quickly became clear that Raisin was struggling with severe digestive issues as soon as she came back. The veterinary team went through a tough process, trying medications, a variety of diets, and rigorous deworming before eventually landing on a hydrolyzed diet. Since making this switch, Raisin’s health and spirits have truly rebounded—her coat is shiny and her digestion is finally stable. She’ll need to stay on her special food long-term, so homes with cats on regular diets who free-feed won’t be the right match. However, Raisin will fit right in with another cat already eating hydrolyzed food or with adopters who don’t mind feeding different meals. Raisin is spirited, playful, and has a knack for making you laugh. She’s the perfect match for another young, energetic cat—senior cats might find her too lively. She loves catnip toys and is known for doling out hugs. Her new adopter will get some of her food to help ease the transition. Ready to meet a unique, loving addition to your home?
