About Frankie "the Frankfurter"
Frankie "the Frankfurter" is the kind of dog most shelters would hesitate to take ināolder, a little weathered, passed over for the easy picks. Instead, he was chosen. Frankie's roots trace back to the Bahamas, and he arrived in rough shape: skinny, hurting, and uncertain. That was in early 2024. He made it, even when the odds said otherwise. Frankie is about nine years old now, roughly 50 pounds, and fully vetted. He takes daily meds for his eyes and back legs with zero fuss. Give him a dog bed or a sunny patch in the yard, and he settles for hours. He's reliably housebroken and moves between resting indoors and catching rays outside. Heās the kind of companion who doesnāt ask for muchājust a soft place, someone to sit near, maybe a quiet backyard.
