About Oven Mitts
Oven Mitts is an affectionate 8-year-old tabby who thrives on snuggles and play sessions. She loves to burrow under the covers and cozy up next to her people, and she never says no to being brushed. Most days, she naps but will eagerly chase toys if you toss them—she even enjoys watching TV with her humans. Oven Mitts is reliable with her litter box and totally at ease indoors. While new noises can startle her at first, she generally carries herself with confidence and warms up quickly. She talks a lot and will 'chat' with you, making her a fun companion around the house. Oven Mitts prefers to be your one and only pet—she’s not fond of other cats and hasn’t lived with dogs. She should be the only animal in the home. She’ll do best with adults and older kids who respect boundaries and know how to interact with cats gently. Oven Mitts does have food allergies and requires a prescription diet to stay healthy. If her diet isn’t followed, she may vomit. A phone consult with a volunteer vet is included in her adoption fee if you have questions about her dietary needs.
