About Kaci
Kaci is a red heeler with a resilience that’s hard to match. She was saved from an overcrowded Texas shelter after being left for dead when she was hit by a car. Against the odds, and after four surgeries to repair fractures in both back legs, Kaci didn’t just pull through—she bounced back stronger and more joyful than ever. Today, she’s fully recovered and moves with an irrepressible spirit. Now two years old, Kaci shows off the best qualities of both mellow and playful. She’s got a calm side, enjoying porch naps and quiet cuddles, but she’s also always ready for a walk or a little adventure. Kaci bonds tightly with her people, happiest curled up close, yet she’s social and easygoing with other dogs. Cats are met with affection, though the cats in her foster home are still making up their minds about her. She is house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Kaci fought hard for her second chance—she’s ready for a home to match her heart. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
