At about 5 years and 3 months old, he is house trained, up to date on vaccinations, and living in Salt Lake City, UT. Bowie has special medical needs and will do best with a family prepared to help manage his seizure condition.

Bowie, once known as Gambit, is a big-hearted and calm soul with a solid-gentle side. After a few twists in life, including a seizure diagnosis, Bowie has become a pro at sticking to his medication routine. His foster family has helped him get comfortable and keep his spark going strong. Living with both dogs and cats, Bowie fits right in and enjoys the company—he gets along well with everyone. He likes his independence but stays close by, never one for constant affection but always good company. Bowie can be found lounging in the yard, catching rays, or going on car rides—nothing fazes him. He’s the type you want around for couch time and will gladly join your next Netflix binge, ideally with a pizza crust or two for a treat. Bowie is looking for adopters who understand what it means to care for a dog managing seizures. He needs a family that can stay on top of his daily care and regular vet visits and be there for him during tough moments.
