She lives for the simple pleasures — sniffing every corner of the yard, rolling in soft grass, running free, and curling up for cozy downtime with her favorite people. Her hugs? Absolutely the best. Consider yourself warned. A medium-energy girl, Trixie is as easygoing as she is entertaining. She's crate-trained, walks well on a leash, and is comfortable being handled during mealtime. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, though she's not shy about making it clear she believes all the food belongs to her — so separate feeding is recommended! Trixie takes new experiences in stride when introduced slowly and calmly. From buzzing bees to rumbling motorcycles, she takes a curious pause to listen and learn before moving on. She is highly food-motivated and has been making great strides with recall training — though fair warning, 'treat' works considerably faster than 'come!' Trixie has recently completed heartworm treatment and is progressing beautifully through her recovery. She is otherwise a young, healthy dog — spayed, fully vaccinated, and on monthly heartworm preventative.
