About Willie A
Willie A, also known as Monty in his foster home, is a gentle, easygoing, and sociable hound/mixed breed in Fairfax, VA. He takes to new people—including kids—without missing a beat, and gets along very well with other dogs (he currently shares his space with a beagle). He’s the type who thrives on attention, especially a good chin scratch or rolling in the grass on a nice day during his beloved walks. Each night, he checks in for a quick hug before settling himself on the couch to sleep soundly through the night—no trouble at all. At 70 lbs, Willie A is a larger dog, but he’s calm in the house. He is fully housebroken and has a respectful attitude toward belongings, unless there’s an untended cheese toast, which might prove tempting. Willie A is healthy, fit, and brings a lot of easy affection and good nature to daily life. His forever family will have a loyal, happy, and nearly perfect companion. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
