About Lilly Lou
This could be the start of something paw-some. Lilly Lou is a loving, playful, and snuggly hound mix who charms everyone she meets at adoption events with her velvety ears and gentle personality. She soaks up love and attention, and it's hard to resist her affectionate nature. Lilly is house trained, crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and is a relaxed car rider. Unlike some hounds, she's not excessively vocal, but she is very food motivated and eager to please. She has fit in well with multiple dogs in her foster home, enjoying both playtime and snuggles. Lilly gets along with dogs at events or on walks, and with thoughtful, structured introductions, she quickly learns her place and the house rules in a new home. Lilly flourishes when given the right environment and guidanceโshe will need an adopter ready to continue her training and reinforce boundaries, so she can truly thrive. Lilly is looking for a calm, stable home with adults or older children, where there isn't too much hustle and bustle. She prefers quieter settings and would not do well in noisy, crowded apartments or condos. A foster-to-adopt trial is available to help ensure sheโs the right fit for your family. Born July 1st, Lilly is a sensitive Cancer, making her especially intuitive and devoted to the people she loves. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
