She thrives when supervised outdoors and enjoys having another playful dog around.

About Annie

Annie is a small Chiweenie mix who’s had a rough start but is ready for a good home. After her previous person passed away, Annie was left alone in a backyard crate until a neighbor stepped in. She was nervous when first rescued but has started to settle in, showing her sweet, trusting side as she gets more comfortable. Annie sticks close to her foster mom, enjoys snuggling with both people and dogs, and adores treats and toys. She’s playful and likes to initiate games with the other pups. Annie sleeps quietly in her crate at night and is catching on well to house training, though she’s still learning—keeping her on schedule makes a difference. She follows basic commands for her age, and her soft coat and gentle frame mean she needs handling that’s careful and respectful. Annie requires a securely fenced yard and someone to watch her outdoors, as well as a playful canine companion to match her energy. Because of her size and sensitivity, a home with older, gentle kids will work best, but not families with young children. If you’re looking for an affectionate, spirited buddy and have the ability to supervise a tiny, active dog, Annie could be the one. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
