Bella Mia
AvailableBella Mia is a young, medium-sized Dachshund/Chihuahua mix currently living in Pearland, TX. She is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. She does especially well with other dogs but is better suited to homes without young children.
About Bella Mia
Bella Mia is a petite Chiweenie looking for her perfect match. She was surrendered after playing a bit too rough with a toddler—she just gets very excited and sometimes nips while playing, but there's no malice behind it. In her foster home, Bella Mia’s revealed herself as the alpha among the small dogs and has shown no aggression toward adults. She’ll thrive in a quiet home, ideally with calm teens or adults—she isn’t suited for homes with young children. Bella is a cautious soul by nature, still a little skittish after all the changes, but she warms up quicker each week. She enjoys hanging out in her crate, especially at meal and bedtime, and loves a tiny treat for following the “go to your room” command. While she does like the company of her foster mom and the other dogs, Bella prefers affection on her terms. Don’t expect to carry her around or take her on leash walks—she’s pee pad trained and likes her routines. Patience and respect for her space are key; with understanding, she blossoms and settles in, eventually curling up beside you. If you’re searching for a gentle, quirky pup who needs a slow introduction to love, Bella Mia is waiting to meet you. This could be the start of something paw-some.
