One of 93 animals rescued from a single home, Tiana is lucky to be alive. You may have heard this story our of Lancaster County on the news – nearly 100 animals living in deplorable conditions. We were so grateful for the opportunity to step up for Tiana and offer her a place to heal. She is safe in a loving foster home with a family who has started to show her how kind and comfortable life for a dog should be. Instead of being trapped and forgotten, Tiana is cherished and free. She is slowly learning to trust those around her, while keeping her distance. We can already see little glimpses of her loyal personality. Despite everything she has been through, Tiana doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Normal things like going for walks and being loose in a house are scary for her. We can’t imagine how big this world feels for her after the horrors she’s lived through for the first 3 years of her life. She will need a quiet home with someone willing to help her realize she is safe. Having another confident dog in the home could also help guide her toward building confidence.
