After a less-than-ideal start in life, Maximus is making impressive strides and showing just how much potential he has. He’s intelligent, eager to learn, and thrives when given structure and guidance. Like many shepherds, he’ll do best with an experienced, confident handler who can provide consistent training and give him a sense of purpose—whether that’s through obedience work, activities, or simply being an engaged daily companion. Maximus would love a home with room to roam and a person committed to helping him continue growing into his best self. He gets along with other dogs, particularly those his size, and would do well in a home that understands his energy and drive.
