DOB: 11/22/2025 Sex/Breed: Male German Shepherd mix Weight: 18 lbs Rescued from: Overcrowded shelter Jasper spent the beginning of his life living in the woods with a feral colony of dogs. Thanks to a group of dedicated rescuers who worked to safely trap and help the dogs, Jasper was lucky enough to get a chance at a better life. He’s still learning that people can be trusted and will need a patient adopter who can give him the time and space he needs to build confidence. Jasper would likely do well in a home with another friendly dog to help show him the ropes. A securely fenced yard would also help him feel safe as he learns new things, including walking on a leash. Despite the big changes in his life, Jasper has remained a very sweet boy with so much potential. With patience and love, he’s sure to grow into a wonderful companion.
