Addie
AvailableAddie is a small, young female Terrier/Chihuahua mix living in Eugene, OR. She is black in color, just over a year old, and currently spayed with vaccinations up to date. Addie is house trained and fine living with cats, but she would do best in a home without young children. She’s crate trained, a bit timid, and looking for a patient adopter who understands her cautious nature.
About Addie
Addie is a small Terrier/Chihuahua mix who has the sort of quirks that make you want to root for her. At just 5 months old, she weighs in at 9.75 pounds and still carries the hesitancy that comes with youth. She is quick to bond with other gentle dogs and likes to burn off some energy being silly, chasing toys, or finding the perfect, ridiculous position to sleep in. If you have cats, she will likely keep her distance but ultimately tolerates them well. Addie prefers a calm, slow approach—grabby hands and surprise noises are not her idea of a good time. Housebreaking is still a work in progress, but she’s crate trained and already knows the basics of using pee pads or going outside, especially if given plenty of chances. Addie’s ideal home is low chaos, no small children, and with patient people who don’t mind that she’s a bit timid and doesn't initiate attention. She opens up with time and will reward you by curling up in your lap for an extended snuggle session. Meet and greets are recommended for potential canine siblings, and a securely fenced yard is required since she isn’t leash trained yet. Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.

While Addie is small and doesn’t need vast space, she’ll do best with access to a securely fenced yard for bathroom breaks and play, since she’s not leash trained yet.
