About Daisy Lynn
Daisy Lynn is a senior, small terrier mix with a gentle temperament and a stubborn knack for finding comfort. At around 27 pounds and fully blind, she handles her surroundings with confidence—navigating rooms, cozying up on beds, and even tolerating leash walks with ease. She came into rescue after her previous owner lost their housing, having never seen a vet before. Daisy’s since had care for a UTI and is scheduled for a dental. She’ll need ongoing meds for glaucoma and typically tolerates her routines, with the exception of her eye drops (never her favorite). She’s mostly a laid-back couch potato but sometimes dances to greet her people and leans in for affection, especially if you let her know before you pick her up. Daisy is housebroken, with accidents only when the UTI flared up. She gets along with respectful dogs and could adjust to a home with cats, though more info can be provided to interested adopters. She’s independent and fine on her own for stretches, so long as she gets regular breaks throughout the day. Daisy’s ideal setup would include a calm, patient household with few stairs and a fenced yard (or frequent, secure walks). She needs someone comfortable managing her eye care and happy to stick to a predictable routine. Give her a simple life and a soft spot in the sun, and she’ll be quietly loyal and resilient.
