About Albert

Move over, Einstein. Albert's here to make things a lot more entertaining. This lively American Bulldog/Boxer mix is about 10 months old and weighs in at 55 pounds. Surrendered by his previous owner due to a change in family circumstances, Albert is quick to bounce back with his cheerful, happy-go-lucky attitude. He thrives on activity—walks, hikes, or simply tearing around the backyard are all in his wheelhouse. His energy stays upbeat, but he's gentle and pretty passive at heart. Expect plenty of kisses and closeness—Albert pretty much assumes anyone nearby is a best friend. Albert gets along with just about everyone: kids, adults, other dogs, and even cats. He’s always up for a car ride and behaves well on the road. Crate trained and house trained, he’s an eager learner who’s still got a bit of puppy in him, so he’ll do best with people ready to keep up and include him in daily life. Professional training is expected, like with all dogs adopted through this rescue. Albert needs an active household and, ideally, company more often than not. If you want a fun, loving companion who greets every day full-tilt, Albert's ready to jump in. This dog currently lives in foster care out of state but will be transported to New England by the rescue at no extra cost when adopted. Your new best friend is just one click away.
