About Brutus

Brutus is a young American Bulldog mix getting ready to make his way from Mississippi to New England, and he comes with all travel arrangements covered. At about 2 years old, Brutus tips the scales around 57 pounds (as of mid-May). He’s the quintessential couch potato—if your idea of bliss is a lazy afternoon with a dog stretched out next to you, you’ll get along great. His favorite activity is getting petted, and he’ll never say no to a belly rub or a good snuggle session. He’s even branded his future humans as "The Snuggle Spuds," a testament to his mellow, affectionate side. Brutus has lived with other dogs and gets along with them well. Kids are no problem for him either, especially if they like to give out scratches and attention. He hasn’t met any cats yet, so that’s still an open question. Brutus is good on a leash and doesn’t mind being crated (though he’s mostly used one for vet visits). He’ll need help adjusting to potty training as he transitions to life indoors, so some patience will go a long way. Vaccinations are up to date and he’s neutered. Brutus is looking for a calm home that enjoys a slow pace and plenty of cozy time. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
