Meet Daisey, the little princess! She is the best cuddler and loves to be in your lap. She likes to watch TV at your side and will snuggle, underneath the blankets, on both the couch & in bed. A head nudge will let you know you haven’t pet her quite enough yet. She also likes to give & receive kisses! She may be a little reserved at first, but once comfortable, she will want to be your bestie. She is not very food driven, but loves squeaky toys. She will throw them in the air and play with them all by herself. She is potty-trained and will go outside, in the yard, as long as you pay attention when she lets you know that it's time to go out. Daisey loves walks, does great on them, and will correct herself if the leash wraps around her leg. After slow introductions, Daisey gets along well with other dogs. If she gives a little growl at first, it just means she is nervous, but that will quickly subside. Being a princess, she believes that all of the furniture belongs to her, and will seek out the soft, high points, upon which to perch & survey her kingdom. Don't let her size fool you...she has no problem jumping on or off of a bed or couch. Daisey shows her loyalty by following you around the home whenever you’re there. If you are in search of a dedicated sidekick that emulates royalty, Daisey is your girl! Like all CPR dogs, additional dog training is required. Daisey is a Chihuahua mix who is about 1 year old. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm-negative, and microchipped. She is looking for a forever home that is willing to foster to adopt until she is fixed. Foster to adopt means, she will be living with you and you will be responsible for her (including financially) but the adoption will not be finalized until she is fixed. She is currently being cared for by our rescue but would like to become a permanent part of your family today! The adoption fee of $325 will also help to benefit other CPR rescue animals.
