Meet Miss Ma’am: a professional lap dog, champion people-watcher, and treat-motivated sweetheart. She can be shy when meeting new folks, but give her a few snacks and about a week to adjust, and she’ll be your most devoted sidekick—preferably curled up in your lap or gazing lovingly into your soul. Miss Ma’am is low-energy, crate trained, and pee pad trained. She’s got opinions about who’s coming and going from the house, but her barky commentary wraps up quickly. She’s good with dogs under 40 lbs and can peacefully coexist with larger dogs as long as they’re polite—her current favorite housemate is a respectful 70-lb pup. Cats, on the other hand, bring out her more dramatic side (read: she will bark and chase). She hasn’t met kids yet, but we suspect she’d do fine with older, gentle ones. Above all, Miss Ma’am is looking for someone who appreciates a little Velcro dog energy, doesn’t mind a few kisses, and has a soft spot for a girl who just wants to love and be loved.
