Meet Chola! Chola is one of 40 lucky pups recently brought up to the Pacific Northwest from a partner shelter in California's Central Valley. She’s part of a large group of small dogs—mostly Chihuahuas and mixes—rescued from tough hoarding conditions. So far, she’s just getting acclimated, but she’s already showing a sweet, approachable personality. Chola enjoys the company of people and other dogs, and with a small frame and golden-and-white coloring, she’ll fit right into a quieter home looking for a gentle companion. She's just over a year and a half old, vaccinated, and has been spayed, so she's ready for a fresh start. No behavioral or medical concerns have surfaced yet, and more details will emerge as she settles in.
