Meet Pearl Hi there... I'm Pearl-a 3-year-old, 23-pound scruffy little Terrier mix with soft eyes, a gentle heart, and a quiet way of loving. Not too long ago, I was found as a stray with my buddy, trying to make sense of the world. Now I'm safe with Take Paws Rescue, and I'm slowly learning that life can be soft, warm, and full of kindness. I'll admit-I can be a little shy when we first meet. New things can feel a bit overwhelming. But give me just a little time and patience, and you'll see my true self begin to shine... a soft tail wag here, a gentle nuzzle there, and before you know it, I'll be right by your side, loyal as can be. Speaking of sides... my favorite place in the whole world? Curled up next to my person, especially in bed, feeling safe and loved. That's when I'm happiest. I get along nicely with other dogs when I'm introduced properly, and I wouldn't mind having a calm canine friend. I'm still figuring out crates (they make me a little nervous), but I'm trying my best. I'm also working hard on my potty training and making great progress! I met a cat once and thought it might be fun to play, but when the cat said "no thank you," I understood and gave space-so I'm a respectful girl. I haven't spent much time with kids yet, but my foster thinks my sweet nature would do just fine with gentle, well-mannered ones. I share a special bond with my buddy, Pup-I've got a nurturing, protective side-but I'm also ready to build a beautiful connection of my own in a loving home. I'm spayed, fully vaccinated, and currently receiving heartworm treatment (don't worry-Take Paws Rescue is covering it all). All I need now is a patient heart and a cozy place to land. If you're looking for a quiet, soulful companion who will blossom right before your eyes... I think we might be meant for each other. Bonus: Pup and I would love to stay together if possible-but we understand that the right homes matter most. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
