Meet Blueberry Hi! My name is Blueberry! I'm a 3-month-old male Chihuahua/Border Terrier mix with long legs, adorable looks, and a sweet personality. My mom, Waffles, and my sibling, Chocolate Chip, were rescued from a rural shelter, and now I'm soaking up all the love in my foster home. I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly once I feel safe and comfortable. I'm currently around 10 pounds, and since my mom is only 13 pounds, I'll likely stay a nice medium-small size. I'm still a puppy, so house training is a work in progress, but I'm learning more every day! My foster family says I'm doing great and continuing to come out of my shell. Now all I need is a patient, loving forever family to help me keep growing and give me the happy ending I deserve. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Breed labels are given based on information obtained during intake and/or best guesses based on appearance and/or temperament of the dogs and Take Paws Rescue gives no assurance to the accuracy of these labels. Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as our website, Chewy, Pet Finder, and others. These are in no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed. ***Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures.
